Job Description

MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified NDT RT Technician, full-time, in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have prior radiographic testing experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence. The RT Technician will perform radiographic inspections in accordance with applicable procedures, customer specifications, and industry standards. Candidates must be capable of setting up RT equipment, interpreting inspection results, and maintaining accurate documentation while working in industrial environments.Working for MISTRAS Group:

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standardsSet up, calibrate, and operate RT equipmentInterpret radiographic images and evaluate indicationsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality requirementsPrepare accurate inspection reports and documentationFollow all radiation safety and company safety proceduresMaintain inspection equipment and recordsWork closely with supervisors, customers, and project teamsSupport outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projectsSupport additional NDT methods as neededWork overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require

Requirements:

Current Level II RT certification preferredPrevious industrial radiography experience requiredState card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicableStrong understanding of radiographic testing techniques and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specificationsStrong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in team environmentsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Requirements:

Graduated from a Non-Destructive Testing SchoolAdditional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, PAUT) are a plusExperience in refinery, manufacturing, fabrication, aerospace, or industrial environments preferredExperience with CR/DR systems is a plus
