Job Description

Affinity Transit Inc. is looking for passionate drivers who are committed to working hard and starting a career with us! Affinity Transit Inc. is a non-emergency medical transportation company that takes great pride in providing quality care and excellent customer service to our clients. We are currently looking for licensed Drivers in the San Fernando/Los Angeles area to join our operation. If you possess a high level of integrity, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and compassion for people, this is the job for you. Drivers will be required to drive patients to various locations for different needs and assist in patient transfers. Full and part-time positions are available, as well as various shifts. Job Requirements:
  • A current California Driver's License.
  • Physical stamina: This job requires lifting and bending.
  • Compassion and patience: This job requires you to interact with all types of people in all types of conditions. 
  • It is essential that our Drivers deeply care about the safety and well-being of those that we transport.
  • Must be able to obtain an LADOT permit- Affinity transit will cover the cost.
  • Applicants must have a valid and clean California driver's License.
  • Valid Driving Record- Print Out (K4) from the DMV - Has to be 30 days recent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lift and Transfer patients as required (Bedside to Gurney and Gurney to Bedside).
  • Transport clients to their desired destination.
  • Must be willing to do a pre and post-trip inspection.
  • We require everyone to frequently sanitize and wear masks during work hours.
  • Providing Door to Door Assistance.
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Prior experience is preferred but not required- We will be providing job training. 
  • Able to use and follow GPS navigation systems such as Google/Apple Maps.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team Player.

Schedule: We are willing to work a flexible schedule- We operate 7 days a week with different shifts available. We can accommodate most school schedules.
