Role: Network Automation Engineer(Network QA)
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
Roles and resposibilities
- Involved in enterprise customers features Testing and related product testing
- Involved in preparing test strategy, test plan and review with test experts
- Participate in Sprint like planning, review, retro and standups
- Preparation of test design, strategy specifications, feature & product test specifications, review and updates
- Implementation and testing of features & product by following software delivery process
- Develop Subsystem/Unit Test cases to cover various scenarios
- Develop Standalone Scripts for Testing is an added advantage
- Provide timely reports to customer and internal management
MandatorySkills:
- Experience in testing customer premise equipments
- Experience level: 2-3 years
- Experienced in black box, white box testing, UAT and E2E testing experience of network equipment and virtualization solutions.
- Test domain Skills – Strong knowledge of test methodologies concepts – L2/L3 domain Knowledge and usage of test equipments and Traffic Generators
- Scripting/Automation Skills are added advantage – ROBOT automation, Perl, Python, TCL, Shell
- Networking Protocols knowledge (VLAN, DHCP, QoS, BGP, DPI, TCP, UDP, Syslog, SNMP, NTP, DNS, Firewall/ACL, HTTP/HTTPS, IPSec, VxLAN
- Netconf, YANG Modelling knowledge added advantage
- Experience in virtualization and hypervisor testing
- Experience and knowledge in openstack, VMs, service chaining.
- Experience and knowledge in operating system concepts.
- Experience and knowledge in SDN/NFV technologies.
- Agile and continuous Delivery methodologies
- Good Communication skills and team player.
