Job Description

Request ID:93152-1 Job Title :Network Engineer Location: Kansas City Kansas Duration: 6-12 Months

PAY  RATE - $50 - $55/hr (all inclusive)

Introduction

This is a 100% onsite role for a skilled professional with expertise in network engineering. The position requires strong hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and management, particularly with Cisco and Palo Alto systems. The role involves working on tickets, requests, and production changes in a 24/7 factory production environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in Palo Alto, Wireless, IpSec VPN, and strong hands-on real-time experience in Cisco SDA or ACI.
  • Strong L3 troubleshooting experience in resolving P1 issues using packet capture.
  • Strong hands-on and troubleshooting experience with Cisco ACI, SDA Fabric, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Wireless.
  • Strong hands-on skills in deploying and managing Palo Alto Firewalls and adding/removing from Panorama.
  • Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in investigating and troubleshooting Wireless (Cisco WLC) issues.
  • Strong understanding of network routing and switching protocols required.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting Level 3 and advanced network issues, ensuring issues are resolved and appropriate solutions are provided.
  • Investigating causes, testing solutions, and suggesting solutions to reduce the time taken to resolve network-related tickets.
  • Managing new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
  • Helping Level 1 & Level 2 resources address network-related issues.
