Outpatient Neurologist – No Hospital Call | Flexible Scheduling

Locations: Mesa, Scottsdale, Midtown Phoenix, and Ahwatukee, Arizona

Schedule: Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Options Available

Practice Setting: 100% Outpatient Neurology | No Inpatient Care or Rounding

Position Overview

A highly regarded, physician-led neurology group in the Phoenix metro area is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists to expand its thriving outpatient team. With multiple modern clinics and a steady referral stream, this position offers:

Compensation Models

W-2 Employed Model

  • Base Salary: $280,000 – $450,000 (based on experience and subspecialty)
  • Incentives: Additional performance-based bonuses

1099 Independent Contractor Model

  • Earning Potential: $500,000+ annually, dependent on patient volume

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of neurological conditions
  • Interpret EEG, EMG, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic studies
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on disease management
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Option to participate in mentorship programs and quality initiatives

Subspecialty Focus Areas of Interest

The group is seeking both general neurologists and subspecialists in:

  • Neuromuscular Disorders (EMG proficiency highly preferred)
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Neuroimmunology (MS and autoimmune conditions)
  • Headache and Migraine Medicine
  • Cognitive Neurology (Alzheimer’s and dementia care)
  • Vestibular and Balance Disorders

Note: The group is not currently recruiting for stroke, epilepsy, or movement disorder subspecialties.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Arizona medical license (active or eligible prior to start)
