Micron’s Pathfinding Design Team focuses on enabling next-generation memory technologies through early-stage concept development, advanced circuit design, and comprehensive verification. The team works across DRAM and emerging memory technologies to deliver innovative, high-impact memory solutions.

The Design and Verification Engineer plays a key role in verifying and developing advanced memory technologies. The position begins with full-chip functional verification responsibilities and offers opportunities to expand into array architecture definition, analysis, and mixed-signal circuit development.

Responsibilities

Perform full-chip functional verification on Micron memory development projects.
Develop verification plans by thoroughly understanding composition specifications.
Build SystemVerilog testbenches to achieve complete functional coverage.
Apply SystemVerilog assertions and verification techniques detailed in testing.
Collaborate with digital design teams to debug test cases and ensure functional accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Proficiency with UNIX and Cadence design environments, including simulation, schematic entry, and SPF extraction.
Experience with circuit-level verification using analog, SPICE, and Verilog design tools.
Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and electronic circuits.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with design-for-test (DFT) methodologies for memory products.
Exposure to RTL verification, static timing analysis (STA), or timing-accurate Verilog.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$67,000.00 - $142,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
