Join Our Team as a NICU Registered Nurse Make a Lasting Impact in Critical Neonatal Care
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for our most vulnerable patients in a Level III NICU setting. This vital role offers the opportunity to work with neonatal patients from 22 weeks gestation and higher, delivering life-saving interventions with compassion and precision. In this role, you will administer specialized medical treatments, manage complex respiratory and cardiovascular needs, and perform essential procedures such as arterial line management and ventilator adjustments. Your expertise will help improve outcomes for fragile neonates requiring surgical or cardiac interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care, utilizing advanced systems like EPIC and Pyxis.
We value skilled professionals with a background in Level III and IV NICU settings, proficiency in cardiovascular rhythm management, infection control, and IV therapy, especially in neonatal intensive care scenarios. Candidates with prior experience at Nationwide Childrens Hospital will receive special consideration.
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $65.76, with benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, robust referral bonuses, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and travel-related expenses when applicable. Enjoy a 12-hour overnight shift from 19:00 to 07:30, ensuring a focused and manageable schedule.
Additional qualifications include current BLS and NRP certifications, and the ability to communicate effectively using SBAR methodology. A compassionate, detail-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
