Job Description
The Heritage Community seeks to hire dedicated employees to work during our graveyard shift. We will hire a candidate who is successful in working independently, while also contributing as a team member for their department. We seek an incumbent who can be alert and attentive to provide a positive, safe milieu for the students in our care.

Schedule:
- Part Time: Three shifts per week, 10:00 PM- 7:00 AM. Saturday night shift runs until 8:00 AM. Work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.
- Full Time: Thursday- Sunday, 10:00 Pm- 7:00 AM. Saturday night shift runs until 8:00 AM. Work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive during the night, and energetic in the morning to assist the students.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.
- Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of mental health.
- Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Engaging and empathetic character, with the balance of tenacity and determination.
- Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal-relationship skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the students during the night, providing a safe and secure, caregiving environment.
- Properly use a variety of mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who may wake during the night, and need support and guidance during escalated moments.
- Wake the students in the morning and supervise them during their initial morning tasks.
- Assure that all paperwork and documentation requirements are met in an effective manner.
