Job Description
Night Shift Welding Supervisor $77,000 ANNUALLYJoin SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued!Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in welding preferred
- Welding experience (MIG required; TIG/Stick a plus)
- Supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of welders and welding operators
- Ensure production schedules, output targets, and deadlines are met
- Monitor weld quality and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Train, coach, and evaluate employees on welding techniques, safety, and performance
- Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and proper use of PPE
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate production and performance records
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment and coordinating repairs when needed
- 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM
- Monday - Friday some Saturdays
