Synergy HomeCare in Middlebury VT is hiring a Part-Time Nightshift Direct Support Professional- DSP for onsite care in a client's home.
You'll work Friday and Sunday, 7:00 PM–8:00 AM, in a calming, one-on-one setting where your presence truly matters. Are you ready to make your nights meaningful? Apply today.
As a Nightshift Direct Support Professional- DSP with Synergy HomeCare, you enjoy starting pay of $19.00–$19.50/hr DOE with a shift differential (higher than our normal hiring range of $17–$19/hr). You'll work restful nights with a recliner provided while the client sleeps, and you'll step in with gentle, stand-by support when needed.

THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS NIGHTSHIFT DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL- DSP
In this caregiving role, you settle into the client's room each evening, resting lightly in a provided recliner as the household quiets; when the bed alarm signals a wake-up, you respond calmly, offering stand-by assistance to help the client safely to the restroom and back to bed-no rushing, no chaos, just attentive, skilled support that keeps them steady and reassured; throughout the night you maintain a comforting presence, anticipate needs, and ensure a safe return to restful sleep.

Hard Requirements (must-haves):
- Compassionate personality and professional demeanor
- Some experience with supportive assistance in ambulation
- Ability to wake easily/light sleeper
- Reliability for Friday & Sunday 7 PM–8 AM shifts (onsite)
- Comfortable remaining in the client's room overnight (recliner provided)
- Comfortable using a bed alarm system to respond when the client wakes
Preferred Qualifications: Overnight experience and previous caregiving experience
