About the Role:
Furniture Mart is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team in Gretna, LA! This is a great opportunity to be the face of our brand, delivering quality furniture and exceptional service right to our customers' doors. Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential customers in the Gretna, LA area
- Unload and assemble furniture in customers' homes or designated spaces as needed
- Inspect deliveries for damage before and after transport, documenting any issues
- Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and perform basic vehicle inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery windows, instructions, and concerns
- Follow optimized delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to coordinate daily delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items (up to 100+ lbs) with a partner
- Prior delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Ability to navigate local routes efficiently using GPS or map tools
- Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
