Green Zone Recycling is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Route Driver / Recycling Collection Specialist to join our growing team in Decatur, GA. Consistent five-day workweek
Early morning start times
Home every day
Saturday work required based on business needs
Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a company vehicle along an assigned collection route
Service textile collection bins and donation locations
Load, unload, and transport collected materials
Stage and organize materials at designated locations
Complete route logs and other required documentation
Communicate route updates, maintenance concerns, and site issues to management
Follow all DOT regulations, state driving laws, and company safety procedures
Provide professional and courteous service at collection locations
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
QualificationsAbility to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (FedMed)Minimum of one year of professional driving experience
Clean driving record
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
Physical RequirementsFrequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing in and out of vehicles
Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an entire shift
Ability to work safely in hot, cold, wet, and other outdoor conditions
