Work Schedule: Various shifts available, including but not limited to weekdays, weekends, daytime hours, evening hours

Expected hours: Less than 30 hours per week

Competitive Compensation: The starting hourly rate is $20 per hour for Non-Certified Pharmacy Technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician license in Tennessee is required but can be attained with help from the company within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• CPhT is preferred.
• Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and the ability to complete job duties with minimal direction.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Duties Include:

We have multiple part- and full-time Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician positions available at this time within different areas of our business to support the organization's growth due to new business. The specific duties of the individuals who join our team will be determined by the particular role they assume. Below are job duties associated with these available positions.

• Fill and/or label prescriptions daily utilizing multiple methods of preparation including automated tablet packaging technology, prepack machines, label conveyor application, and hand packing of prescriptions as needed.
• Perform setup, adjustment, and operation of light pharmacy machinery as needed to support daily production requirements.
• Accurate packaging and shipping of prescriptions on a daily basis.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all tasks.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk and stand. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• The employee is required to exert up to 40-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects.
• May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
• Able to reach, carry, grasp, and feel objects related to duties.
