Job Summary: As a Non-Foods Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and stocking our non-foods department, including household items, cleaning supplies, and health and beauty products. Your role will involve ensuring shelves are properly stocked, assisting customers in locating products, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the department. Join us in providing essential items and convenience to our customers while contributing to the success of our store.

Examples of Duties:

Stock shelves and displays with non-food items, ensuring products are properly rotated and organized.

Assist customers in locating non-food items, providing recommendations, and answering questions about product features and uses.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking activities to maintain adequate stock levels.

Ensure cleanliness and organization in the non-foods department, including cleaning shelves, displays, and aisles.

Receive and inspect deliveries of non-food items, verifying accuracy and quality.

Price and label products as needed, following pricing guidelines and procedures.

Assist with inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.

Collaborate with store management and other departments to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of non-food products, including household items, cleaning supplies, and health and beauty products.

Familiarity with inventory management principles and retail operations.

Skills:

Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills for assisting customers and addressing their needs.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.

Organization: Skill in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the non-foods department.

Minimum Qualifications:
