You will collaborate closely with Firm Partners to maintain financial integrity and support the firms operational success.What Youll Do: As a Business Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.*
- Managing legal billing, invoicing, and collections to ensure timely and accurate revenue processing.*
- Processing payroll and administering employee benefits efficiently.*
- Preparing monthly financial statements and monitoring budgets for attorneys and staff.*
- Coordinating with external accountants and tax professionals for seamless year-end reporting and compliance.*
- Managing vendor relationships, controlling office expenses, and overseeing operational budgets.*
- Assisting with HR functions such as onboarding new staff and maintaining employee records.*
- Monitoring and replenishing office supplies to support daily operations.*
- Maintaining organized financial documentation and implementing internal controls to safeguard firm data.
- 5+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office management experience; prior experience in a law firm or professional services setting is preferred.*
- Technical proficiency with accounting software and financial reconciliation procedures; familiarity with law firm billing systems is a plus, with training provided if necessary.*
- Strong discretion with confidential information, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.*
