Join a leading organization specializing in aviation quality assurance as a 1st Shift QC Receiving Inspector in Huntington Beach, CA and make an impact every day.As a 1st Shift QC Receiving Inspector, you'll maintain the highest quality standards for incoming aviation parts. You'll work closely with engineering and supplier teams to deliver results that make a difference.What You'll DoAs a 1st Shift QC Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to perform precise inspections.*
- Using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators to verify quality.*
- Conducting visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts to confirm compliance.*
- Performing receiving and first article inspections, and preparing detailed inspection reports.*
- Identifying root causes of discrepancies, reviewing supplier certifications, and supporting corrective actions.
- A high school diploma or GED; an Associates degree is a plus.*
- Experience or familiarity with quality control in manufacturing or aerospace (raw materials, electrical components, machined parts, and/or injection molded products).*
- Strong attention to detail and excellent measurement skills.*
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, with proactive communication.
