Job Description

Immediate openings for Mechanical Design Mod Engineers. 100% remote, contract or perm. These are new positions being added due to expansive growth. Compensation up to $95/hr (contract) or $150K (perm, negotiable). Time and half for overtime. Work for a leading nuclear A/E firm that is Engineer of Choice with multiple utilities. 100% remote, no travel required. These roles entail developing the mechanical design mod packages for commercial nuclear plant mods/upgrades.
  • Flexible schedule – be available during normal business hours – but if you want to take a 2-hour lunch or go to a kid’s ballgame, that’s fine. Just get the work done and participate in Teams meetings!
  • Diverse nuclear client base - so if work runs out with one client, you just move to another project.
  • Opportunity to be hired contract to direct
  • Work 100% remote.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in engineering
  • 3+ years current experience developing mechanical design change packages for commercial nuclear plant mods - including calcs, specs, analysis, etc. 
  • Background in mods that involve valves, pumps, HVAC, heat transfer, flows,  etc.  (this is NOT a piping engineer or pipe support)
  • Experience with IP-ENG-001.
  • Experience as a Responsible Engineer.
  • Ability to work independently and against deadlines.
