This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders*
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately*
- Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment, including SPECT and PET systems*
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital protocols*
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide clear instructions and compassionate care*
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation*
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver timely results*
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field*
- ARRT (N) certification required*
- Active Arizona state licensure*
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)*
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply)
