Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York 14623Pay: $2,716 – $3,040/week

Schedule

8-hour shifts, 5 days/week
Monday – Friday
Varying shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
No weekends, no call, no holidays

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician orders
Educate patients on procedures and equipment
Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy safely and accurately
Ensure age-appropriate imaging techniques and quality
Monitor and respond to patient condition
Prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
Maintain inventory and proper documentation of scans and results

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

Minimum 2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
CT certified with PET/CT experience

Licenses/Certifications:

CNMT (NMTCB) or RT with NM (ARRT) certification: Required
ARRT – CT: Required
NYS License: Required
BLS (AHA): Required

Equipment Knowledge (Preferred):

GE PET or Philips PET scanners
