Job Description

• Performs routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams for evaluation and treatment by physicians.• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and• initiative to complete required procedures. May have access to areas where medications are stored• and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalentMust meet the educational requirement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification with NMTCB or ARRT (NM)

Preferred:Associate’s Degree or higher

• Licensure/ Certification• Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT or NMTCB with documented Continuing Education to maintain registration/certification or meet requirements to be certified by NMTCB• Must possess advanced Nuclear Medicine Registry/Certification• CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire• Completed an accredited Nuclear Medicine program• Experience• One or more years of experience in the field of Radiology

Preferred:Prior Nuclear Medicine experience
