- Interview, educate, and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.
- Administer radioactive materials, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety.
- Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, position patients, and acquire quality images.
- Perform routine tests on imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including administered doses and imaging protocols.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment.
- Stay updated on nuclear medicine advancements and pursue continuing education.
- Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations, maintain licensures, and participate in required training.
- Certification from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N) OR the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- CA DPH RT State License.
- Venipuncture and Fluoroscopy Certification.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to relocate (out-of-state candidates).
- 1+ year of experience preferred.
- Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) if applicable.
- Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations, or titers.
- Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months.
- Current Annual Health Clearance.
- Reliable source of transportation.
- Possible floating between facilities (separate days).
