Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a team of patient-centered professionals who have a culture of caring for each other while providing an excellent patient experience. JOB DESCRIPTION:Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.

Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.

Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services. 

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.  

Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.  

Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.  

This position requires verification of your college transcript.  Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview. 

EXPERIENCE:Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. That said, we’d love to hear from new graduates or Nuclear Medicine Techs who are new to the field. 

SCHEDULE:

Monday- Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage

Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details- Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example- 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.

Equipment utilized includes 2 Philips digital PET/CT scanners, a GE Starguide SPECT/CT, a GE SPECT/CT, and more.  We have Epic EMR and a Visage PACS system.

SIGN ON BONUS & RELOCATION ELIGIBLE: 

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $6,000-15,000 depending on experience when hired into a full-time position. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.   

Relocation Assistance is available for candidates who are joining us from a distance that is greater than 120 miles from their previous role and home - up to $6000!
