Purpose
TheNurse -preoperative (Preop) /post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)for the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) “Center,” provides professional nursing services & standardsof practicein accordance withlevel of experience & education,stateboard of nursing & established policies & procedures.Integrates the art, science, leadership & knowledge ofnursingclinical practice through relationship-centered, compassionate,ethical&respectfuldirect / indirecthealthcareservices.Participates as a team member of the total perioperative process& carefor patients.

RNII–independent:Practice is guided by nursing process&policy/procedure/standards& participation in professional / shared governance;Independently & safely cares for patients common to assigned area ortechnical/operational services. Acts as a resource for others & may serve in intermittent expanded roles. Organizes/ manages / monitorspre & postoperativecare processes; Ensures documentation is obtained /verified /maintained.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from anaccredited school of nursing. ValidRNlicensure authorized in the applicable state(s)of practice/employment.Valid driver’slicense whererequired by assignment.
AdditionalQualifications(nice to have)
BaccalaureateofScienceinNursing (BSN)degree from an accredited school of nursing. Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area.
