Nurse Manager - Maternity Care Center/Ob

In this role you will be:

• Developing objectives, policies, and procedures to formalize and implement the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the hospital.
• Formulating and monitoring capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
• Directing staffing and scheduling of personnel.
• Planning and coordinating orientation and educational needs of the staff.
• Directly supervising employees in the delivery of care.
• Maintaining a good working relationship with other disciplines and physicians.
• Promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.
• Managing multiple projects.
• Leading meetings, discussions and process improvement initiatives when needed to promote quality outcomes regarding patient care.
• Audit controls, required to remain alignment in compliance with regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, or actively pursuing

• EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years recent nursing experience preferred

• 3-5 years progressive leadership experience

• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire

• Related professional certification preferred
