- Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- W2: $119.00/hr.
- Travel Stipend: $1246.00/week for Lodging and Meals
- Overtime: $200.00/hr.
- Bonus (Contract Completion): $2,000.00
Job Summary: Pagosa Springs Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) to join its Acute Care team. The NP will provide advanced clinical care to oncology and hematology patients, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to Hem/Onc/BMT patients in an acute hospital setting
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care protocols
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license (Colorado or compact, as applicable)
- Previous experience in Hematology / Oncology / BMT
- Acute care or hospital-based experience preferred
- BLS (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
