At least 1 year of experience working in the ER, UC, or Acute setting as an NP or RN
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with an Urgent Care facility located in Bronx, New York.
Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition or illness
- Conduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions, infections, disease processes, etc.
- Provide advice to patients about health maintenance, hygiene practices, diet modification, medication use, etc.
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as wound culture, urinalysis, and blood tests
- Treat minor wounds, cuts, and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infection
- Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury
- Order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illness
- Communicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans
- Provide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems
Requirements
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified
- At least 1 year of experience working in the ER, UC, or Acute setting as an NP or RN.
Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 / yr
- This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position (minimum of 2 days a week)
