As we continue to expand our presence in the upstate, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMP) to join our team in a contract‑to‑hire capacity as an independent contractor.This role begins as a 1099 independent contractor position, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on mutual interest, performance, and organizational needs.Why Work With iTrust Cares?This contract‑to‑hire opportunity offers professional autonomy, flexible scheduling, and the support of a collaborative clinical team dedicated to improving the quality of life for older adults. - AGNP or PHMP with an active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
- Genuine passion for working with the geriatric population
- Strong clinical judgment and confidence in developing evidence‑based treatment plans
- Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
- Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
- Monday–Friday
- In‑person patient visits within partnered independent and assisted living communities
- Flexible scheduling with autonomy to support a healthy work‑life balance
- Administrative support for scheduling, billing, licensing, and credentialing
- Access to clinical consultation, professional development resources, and continuing education
- Technology and equipment provided, with ongoing technical support
- A collaborative, mission‑driven team environment
- Position begins as a 1099 independent contractor (contract‑to‑hire) role
- Opportunity to transition to a permanent position contingent on performance and organizational needs
- Contractors are responsible for their own insurance, taxes and benefits during the contract period
