Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA‑C) - Pain Management
Outpatient | Office‑Based | Weekdays Only | Training & Ongoing Support Provided
Base Salary: Base salary + Productivity Bonus
Schedule: Full‑Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm
Practice Setting: Outpatient Interventional Pain Management
Travel: Some travel between clinic sites

Pain management is a specialty - but you do NOT need pain management experience to succeed here.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient pain management practice. This is an office‑based role focused on scheduled outpatient visits, patient education, and collaborative care.
No pain management experience required
~2 weeks of hands‑on initial training
Daily, ongoing access to supervising physicians
Collaborative environment - you are never practicing alone

- Strong communication skills
- Empathy and patience
- Ability to educate and set expectations
- Comfort with office‑based outpatient visits

What You'll Do
- Conduct pain‑focused histories and physical exams
- Manage acute and chronic pain conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Develop and follow treatment plans for outpatient visits
- Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure follow‑up care
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps
- Prescribe medications per state and practice guidelines
- Document visits clearly in the EMR
- Collaborate daily with physicians, MAs, and clinical staff
Training & Ongoing Support
Approximately 2 weeks of hands‑on onboarding
Side‑by‑side training in:
Pain‑focused assessments
Patient communication and education
Treatment planning and follow‑up visits
Permanent supervising support - physicians are always available to:
Answer questions
Review plans
Provide guidance on complex cases
Qualifications
- Licensed NP or PA‑C (new graduates welcome)
- Active, unrestricted state license
- National certification
- BLS/CPR required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
