Job Description

Nursing Assistant – Contract

Location: NY 14456Pay: $736 – $840Hours: Full Time, 3x12 hr shifts (7:00p–7:30a), every other weekend & holidaysFloat: May be required to float to SSMH

Position Summary & Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and assist with ADLs per plan of care

  • Take vitals, assist with meals, feeding, and documentation

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort (turning, positioning, skin care, call lights)

  • Support rehab needs (ROM, transfers, ambulation)

  • Report changes to nursing staff and assist in shift handoffs

Requirements

  • BLS (AHA)

  • 1–2 years healthcare/patient care experience

  • High School Diploma or GED; Health/Human Services education preferred
