Minimum Salary (Hourly Rate): 50.150000
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifies cases through predetermined filters and performs case reviews
- Conducts initial review of cases to determine appropriateness for Committee review
- Selects and assigns cases to peers for review in consultation with Committee Chair(s)
- Performs clinical data abstraction and analysis for the Emergency General Surgery (EGS) and Surgery Quality & Performance Improvement Programs; Provides clinical support to the programs
- Establish and maintain a functional system of collaboration for programmatic data and quality improvement needs
- Works closely with key personnel to ensure data accuracy and meaningful QI initiatives
- Maintains collaborative working relationship with Medical Director(s) and key personnel to meet program goals
- Attends Committee meetings and records minutes and discussion points on case presentations; Generates correspondence to surgeons whose cases were reviewed to request additional information
- Tracks attendance and is responsible for meeting related correspondence (reminders, meeting invitations, etc.)
- Maintains Committee rosters, attendance, and case volume logs
- Provides dedicated support for Surgical PI and EGS-specific quality improvement activities
- Assists in the administrative functions of the EGS Program
