Nursing Director - MedSurg/Tele
Location: Sunnyvale, Texas
Our client is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to lead our Med-Surg/Telemetry unit. This role is responsible for the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and supporting organizational goals.
What You'll Do:
- Provide leadership and direction for the Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
- Oversee staffing, quality, safety, service, and patient experience
- Support and mentor nursing leaders using Evidence-Based Leadership practices
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and the CNO to resolve issues and improve care
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and manage departmental budgets
What We're Looking For:
- RN license in Texas
- Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred
- 5+ years of progressive acute care leadership experience
- Strong background in Med-Surg/Telemetry preferred
