Job Description
The Nursing Director, Long-Term Care, Hampshire Memorial Hospital (HMH) assists with the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit. The Nursing Director establishes objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit, and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.
High-Quality Care: With a 4-star CMS rating, HMH, Long Term Care, is recognized for maintaining strong standards of care and resident services. The rating reflects positive performance across important measures, giving residents and families added confidence in the quality of care provided.
Education
Bachelors Nursing (BSN) is required.
Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
Experience
Five (5) or more years management experience is required.
Five (5) or more years nursing home/long-term care setting is required.
Certification & Licensures
Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia is required.
Basic CPR-certified and up-to-date annually is required.
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
