Nursing Manager- Operating Room- Pediatrics, Plastics, and Burn SurgeryThe Pedi/Plastic/Burn Team is a cohesive team that cares for patients undergoing plastics and burn surgery, and pediatrics in our designated 3 room pediatric OR suite. Our pediatric subspecialties include neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology. Plastics procedures vary in complexity from cosmetic to microsurgery and complex multiservice operations.   Reasons to Choose Mass General Hospital

SummaryDirects, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. May provide direct patient care.Does this position require Patient Care? YesEssential Functions-Ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of staff onboarding, training, and education.-Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback for staff. -Ensures a positive work environment that is safe for patients, visitors, and staff. -Coordinating unit activities with other hospital departments of the hospital.-Develops and implements staffing plans.
