Job Description

About Jamestown HealthCARE and the Jamestown Salish Seasons

Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe is expanding its healthcare offerings in the form of a brand new, state-of-the-art Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) Center, named Jamestown Salish Seasons, constructed on the Jamestown Healing Campus.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity:

  • This facility is the first and only Tribally owned and operated E&T in Washington State.

  • It is classified as a freestanding, 16-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) designed to provide 24/7/365 behavioral health inpatient treatment, including crisis stabilization, diagnosis, medication management, and more.

  • The Center's operational focus is on voluntary treatment as opposed to involuntary, ensuring our treatment offerings are designed from the ground up to provide world-class, recovery-oriented care.

We are committed to evidence-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed treatment that honors our mission, values, and standards for quality and safety.

The Opportunity

Are you a nursing leader passionate about behavioral health and community wellness? Jamestown Salish Seasons (JSS) is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead our nursing operations. JSS is a 16-bed voluntary residential treatment facility providing 24/7/365 crisis stabilization and inpatient behavioral health services.

As the Nursing Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our clinical team-planning, directing, and coordinating nursing operations while mentoring a dedicated team of RNs. Working closely with the Medical Director and an interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standards of medical care, medication management, and patient outcomes in a culturally responsive environment.

Essential Functions

Medical and Clinical Patient Care Oversight

  • Ensure high-quality care delivery in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.

  • Support crisis stabilization for individuals in acute mental health crises.

  • Serve as a clinical resource during urgent or emergent situations.

Medication Management

  • Oversee medication ordering, storage, administration, and disposal.

  • Maintain safety standards and lead initiatives to reduce medication errors.

Compliance and Quality Assurance (QA/PI)

  • Ensure operations meet local, state, and federal regulations (RCW, WAC, HIPAA).

  • Implement quality assurance initiatives and monitor performance improvement data.

  • Participate in leadership on-call coverage to ensure 24/7/365 operational continuity.

Care Coordination & Cultural Competence

  • Collaborate with Tribal representatives to incorporate Tribal culture and values into nursing services.

  • Promote culturally responsive communication and interdisciplinary care coordination.
