Job Description

WE ARE LOOKING FOR 1 PEDIATRIC NURSE TO FULFILL 10 Hours Guaranteed with an additional 8 HOURS PRN PER WEEK OF NURSING CARE

Shift Options:

1 day per week – Monday or Friday (your choice) 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shift)

Additional Monthly PRN Hours (Flexible):Choose one:

Work one additional 8-hour shift every other week, OR
Work one 14-hour shift every week instead

Pay Rate: LPN $40 per hour and RN $50 per hour

Location: Rossville, GA 30741

Nurse Responsibilities:

Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
Accurately monitor and track clients’ overall health and medical history during every visit
Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasks
Verify clients are taking the correct dosages of medications
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed

Nurse Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Experienced pediatric nurse with strong skills in oxygen management and tube feedings
Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
1+ year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
Current RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and with directions
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Exceptional customer service skills
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
