Nursing Supervisor - Float Pool (Part-Time Nights)

The Part-time Nursing Supervisor is an RN that will oversee the clinical operations of inpatient nursing units related to staffing needs, facilitating communication between nursing units/departments. Responds to emergency situations throughout the facility and coordinates and prioritizes interventions during these situations. Serves as a clinical resource person to staff and physicians to meet patient's needs in accordance to policy and procedure. Responsible for operations of all departments during off hour operations. Serves as an Administrative resource for off hour staff (nights and weekends).

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• Registered nurse with at least three years of acute care experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Strong clinical skills, ability to work under stress, strong communication skills and organizational skills a must
