Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time day/night position (36 hours per week) in our Nursing Department for a Nurse Supervisor (RN).

  • Coordination and supervision of hospital and patient care services.

  • Provides leadership for clinical excellence, personnel management, resources management, fiscal accountability, and maintenance of positive working relationships with staff, physicians, visitors, volunteers, community agency representatives and the public.

  • Participates in nursing and hospital-wide activities to achieve department and organization goals.

  • Makes decisions, authorizes and acts in absence of department management and/or hospital administration.

  • Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00am- 7:00pm, 7:00pm- 7:00am, 11:00am-11:00pm).

  • Every third weekend, every third holiday.

Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • Licensed as an RN in Iowa and/or meets the requirements of multi-state licensure.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience, experience in a variety of acute care clinical settings (i.e. ICU, Med/Surg, OB)

  • Experience in

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required. TNCC is required if working in the Emergency Department.

  • Mandatory Reporter training certificate required as an employee.

Today Floyd Valley includes the hospital, family medicine clinics in Le Mars, Marcus and Remsen, and public health. We serve people in their homes through home health and home medical services.
