WHO WE ARE:
State of Franklin Healthcare Associates is a physician-led and team member-owned multi-specialty care group headquartered in Johnson City, TN with locations in the upper East Tennessee & Southwest Virginia region. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure adequate nursing personnel coverage and reassign nursing personnel to cover unexpected absences or clinic needs
- Assign/Approve time off usage in compliance with attendance policies
- Conduct nursing staff meetings
- Order/maintain clinic supplies
- Perform peer reviews; promote/demote
- Collaborate with providers in assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients
- Maintain patient flow by escorting patients to and from
- Accurately record patient data; vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit
- Administers subcutaneous, intramuscular injection and IV therapy
- Obtain blood specimens
- Clean and sterilize exam or procedure rooms
- Request and evaluate lab tests
- Inform patient of results per doctor's orders
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five years or more in clinical nursing required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
