By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.Our mission: Through the talents of an experienced and diverse workforce, OCES supports the independence and dignity of older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy, safe living which positively impacts our community.We are seeking a Nutrition Program Supervisor responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of congregate meal-sites and the Home Delivered Meals program plus assigned staff. What you'll do:Assisting with the internal billing process as needed
Coordinating delivery schedules, routes, and personnel
Developing and recommending program improvements
Ensuring that consumer satisfaction standards are met
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
Generating and updating program related reports as needed
Maintaining updated inventory of equipment needed in department and meal sites Monitoring meal operations to ensure all health and safety standards are met
Overseeing all training, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of assigned staff
Performing bi-annual meal-site inspections
Reviewing and approving invoices for meals and site/caterer supplies
Other duties as assigned.What you'll bring:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to deal effectively with statistical and financial data
Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to pay attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
Ability to travel and reliable means of transportation
Familiarity with meal service, health and safety requirements
Must possess or obtain appropriate food safety certifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nutrition or Human ServicesThree years' experience in community or elder service programs Must have personal computer with secure internet access at home
Must be able to lift-up to 25 pounds at times
