Position Overview
Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team.
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders across the organization, providing support in employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Serve as a primary HR partner for employees and managers.
- Provide guidance on workplace concerns, employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Conduct and support employee investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action processes.
- Partner with leaders to address performance concerns and promote employee engagement.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
- Assist with HR audits, reporting, and HRIS administration.
- Identify risks and escalate complex employee relations matters when appropriate.
Benefits & Employee Support
- Assist employees with questions regarding benefits, leave administration, policies, and HR programs.
- Support benefits enrollment and employee education initiatives.
- Partner with HR leadership on leave of absence and accommodation processes.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and employee experience.
- Support initiatives that increase efficiency, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Recruiting, Payroll, and Operational Leadership to support workforce initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Strong understanding of employment law fundamentals and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting multi-state workforces.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.

Compensation
Annual Salary: $65,000
