Job Description
This position is only open to current Pacific University School of Occupational Therapy Students in the second or third year of the program.
Department and Location: School of Occupational Therapy, Hillsboro Campus, HPC2 3rd Floor
Purpose: The School of Occupational Therapy teaching assistant provides general course support to instructors and their students.
Wage: $16.80 per hour
Employee Classification: Non-exempt
Length of Employment: Fall Semester (Aug. 31 to Dec. 16, 2026) and/or Spring Semester (Jan. 25 to May 11, 2027)
Hours: Expected 2-3 hours per week. Hours are determined by course instructor. Not to exceed 20 hours per week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the course instructor and students.
- Answering student questions.
- Assisting with classroom/lab set up and clean up.
- Assisting with grading exams.
- Assisting with lab activities.
- Assisting with research projects.
- Assisting with running portions of labs.
- Copying.
- Obtaining materials.
- Organizing labs.
- Proctoring lab exams.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
