Responsible for efficient and effective performance of Inspections of Raw Materials in conformance with regulations and standards. This includes all Incoming Inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Quality Reports.

• Maintain and implement efforts in housekeeping, and safety programs.

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Incoming Inspection.

• Perform Inspections as per stablished procedures.

• Understands and consistently follows multi-step documented procedures while conducting Inspections.

• Receive and maintain inventory for equipment and consumables.

• Maintains accurate and well-organized records, notebooks and/or worksheets.

• Maintenance of the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance programs for Incoming Inspection equipment.

• Provide QC support to new product development/Launch/Capacity Expansion projects.

• Support any Waste Reduction Initiatives that involves Incoming Inspection.

• Demonstrate Regulatory Compliance such as FDA inspection readiness, Corporate Audits, Internal Audits and maintain Training Compliance.

• Demonstrate Safety Compliance such as Strive for Zero Serious Accidents, contribute for a successful EH&S Audits with 0 major observations and Contribute for the overall Safety Index plant goal of >98%

• Must have awareness and respect of all company policies and safety rules.

• Maintain appropriate training/certification including GLP and GMP

• Perform other assigned tasks on as needed basis

• Maintain metrics for the area

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

• Associate Technical degree in science‑related field (preferred)

• 1-2 years working with Calipers, rulers for detailed measurements, vision system (Preferred).

• Conversant with GLP/GCP/cGMP and global Drug and Device Development Processes (Preferred)

• Conversant with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and statistical software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Organized and self-motivated
