Saint Luke's Medical Education OBGYN Clinic is expanding and is excited to welcome a new physician to our growing team. We are seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN to join our well-established, academically focused practice located at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.
About the Position
Join a collaborative team of 5 OB/GYN physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers at a busy, patient-centered academic practice
Full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care with a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
This role is centered on teaching within a structured residency program, with the physician supervising residents and providing patient care exclusively alongside them rather than independently
Enjoy a balanced schedule with just two on-site night shifts per month

Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology, eligible for medical licensure in MO and KS; preference will be given to experienced candidates
Academic & Teaching Responsibilities
This position offers a meaningful opportunity to engage in medical education at multiple levels. Physicians in this role will:
Supervise and mentor OB/GYN residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings and teaching and mentoring medical students rotating through the clinic and hospital services
Provide direct oversight in labor and delivery, surgical cases, triage, postpartum care, and gynecologic procedures
Participate in bedside teaching, case discussions, and clinical decision-making guidance
Support residents in developing procedural competency and independent clinical judgment
Contribute to a positive learning environment that fosters professionalism, accountability, and high-quality patient care
Facilitate student learning through clinical instruction, case-based discussion, and evaluation
Participate in didactics, conferences, and quality improvement initiatives as part of the academic mission
