OB High Risk Ultrasound Tech

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in High-Risk OB/GYN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient-focused, and professional, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams in a community hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (Military training accepted).
• High-Risk OB/GYN Ultrasound experience.
• Experience using Epic EMR and PACS.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform High-Risk OB/GYN ultrasound examinations while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Educate patients on the examination process and address questions or concerns.
• Review patient history and collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, select appropriate imaging parameters, and ensure optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and report any significant changes.
• Document patient encounters and imaging results accurately using Epic EMR and PACS.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintain supplies, and support quality assurance initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with the department supervisor regarding workflow, scheduling, and completed procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Experienced hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Technologist.

Requirements

• No High-Risk OB experience is a disqualifier.
• No Epic or PACS experience is a disqualifier.
• Poor professionalism or communication skills are disqualifiers.
• Scheduling conflicts or excessive commitments affecting attendance or punctuality are disqualifiers.
