Job Description
Join our esteemed healthcare team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician and make a meaningful impact on women's health and well-being. This position offers a dynamic clinical environment with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, including clinic coverage, overnight, and weekend call shifts. Be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality care, utilizing advanced on-site resources such as lab, ultrasound, and fetal monitoring services.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services in a clinic setting, scheduled 4 days per week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., including an hour for lunch.
- Manage inpatient care with a 1:4 call schedule, including overnight and weekend coverage from Friday 8 a.m. to Monday 8 a.m.
- Perform fetal monitoring and labor support, ensuring safety and well-being for mothers and babies.
- Collaborate closely with nurse practitioners for practice support.
- Utilize in-house lab and ultrasound facilities, with the ability to conduct Non-Stress Tests (NST) on-site.
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license in applicable state.
- Certifications in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and fetal monitoring.
- Experience with labor management and gynecological procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities.
- Experience with IMLC provider recognition; a Quality Letter is required.
- Proficiency with ultrasound interpretation.
- Prior work in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred.
- Prior experience managing inpatient obstetric services is advantageous.
- Must hold current PALS and fetal monitoring certifications.
- Travel and licensure reimbursements are available where applicable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as per schedule.
