Job Description

Volume: It varies of course, but on average, we see around 20 deliveries per month.

Average clinic visits seen per month-around 120. Templated appointments are about 16 per day.

Surgery days are Mondays and Thursdays, generally can do between 3-5 procedures on a full day.

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) located in Astoria, Oregon is a full service, 25-bed, critical access, not-for-profit, Planetree-Certified hospital where person-centered care is a priority. We are in need of a full-time, board certified OB/GYN.

Start date: April 2 , 2024, for 6+ months

Board certified in both OB and GYN

OR license (currently active)

OR DEA

Clinic Monday-Friday 8:45AM to 5:00PM

Call Usually no more than 10 shifts a month 24 hours 7am-7am

Must have worked in OB/GYN in the past 12 months and be able to produce hospital case logs

CS rate: 40%- this includes primary and repeats.

Required procedures: In Clinic: OB care, New OB visits, GYN consults, IUD placements, removals, Nexplanon placements and removals, colposcopies, LEEPs, EMB's, vulvar biopsies.

Surgical procedures: D&C, hysterectomies, C-sections, salpingectomy, hysteroscopy, OB versions. Will always have another OB for assist. Sometimes combine procedures with General Surgeon. We do not currently have laser/robot.

Nursery level: Level one. 24/7 PEDS call coverage.

Transfer policy: we do not to VBACs, do not deliver before 35 weeks. (transfer to Portland or Longview for anyone
