Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

• Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operations, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events
• Provides audio reinforcement for events
• Installs and operates portable audio systems
• Mixes audio for live events
• Operates fork trucks and lift equipment

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains the casino music system
• Drives trucks that are up to 24 feet in length
• Cleans and maintains equipment
• Assists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience working with professional audio equipment and live audio reinforcement, including digital and computer based systems
• Previous experience rigging PA systems in an arena environment
• Previous experience mixing live audio in an arena or other similar large venue

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

• Good communication skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledgeable in working with the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) operating system

Training Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in the operation of analog, digital and computer based professional audio equipment
• Must be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
