Occupational Therapist
Location: Hoboken, NJPosition: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMSalary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
Summary This role is suited for an Occupational Therapist who values structured care, practical goal-setting, and consistent follow-through. You will evaluate patient needs, deliver hands-on interventions, and support measurable functional improvement through evidence-based treatment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate functional ability and identify limitations impacting daily activities
- Design treatment plans and adjust based on patient response and outcomes
- Provide OT interventions to support self-care, fine motor skills, UE strength, and mobility
- Develop home programs and teach patients how to continue progress between visits
- Educate families/caregivers on safe support strategies and carryover
- Work closely with the team to coordinate care and improve patient flow
- Document clearly to support quality care and compliance requirements
Requirements
- OT degree from an accredited school (Master’s or Doctorate)
- Active New Jersey OT license (required)
- NBCOT certification (required)
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to explain goals in simple language
- Experience with EMR documentation preferred
