Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at located at Hemingford Community Care Center in Hemingford, NE.

Training + Onboarding
We don't believe in the "sink or swim" approach.
New therapists receive:
Strong integration and onboarding
1:1 training for documentation and evaluations
Customized clinical training based on your experience
Ongoing mentorship and competency support when needed
What You'll Do
As the OT, you'll treat a geriatric population across SNF and Transitional Care, including:
Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
Transfer training (all levels)
Fall prevention and safety training
Treatment of clinically complex patients
Discharge planning and care coordination
Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff

Requirements
Current Nebraska OT license in good standing
Degree from an accredited OT program
Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
Ability to supervise a COTA
SNF experience preferred - but not required. New grads are welcome, and we provide structured training and mentorship.
