Overview
Job Description
- Provide tailored occupational therapy services to students with high-needs caseloads in an educational setting.
- Float between two elementary schools to deliver consistent 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective IEP intervention plans.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance students’ functional abilities and participation in daily school activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress in compliance with regulatory and school standards.
- Attend required meetings and participate in Safety Care training provided by the school.
- Valid Rhode Island Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy frameworks and IDEA regulations.
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to undergo and implement Safety Care training (provided upon hire).
